I attended the “How to photograph everyone.” master class at Studio Altius in Maplewood last week. What a great experience. This was the first photography workshop I’ve ever attended and it was well worth the time and money. Clay’s enthusiasm is infectious. We started at 9 a.m. and ended around 7:30 down at the Arch. Here are a few of my images from the day.

I just found out the Missouri Botanical Garden opens early on Wednesdays and Saturdays. So I went there this Wednesday, walked the gardens and then saw the Orchid show (which ends at the end of this month). Here are some of the photos.

Deborah Gregory, author of “The Cheetah Girls” novels, was the special guest of StudioSTL for a fundraising event. StudioSTL empowers youth by helping them discover, develop, and celebrate their individual voices through writing. I was fortunate enough to be invited by StudioStL to photograph the event, along with a photographer from Ladue News. To see more photos, click on “Client Images” at the top of this page.

This past Sunday we took photos at the Husband and Wife golf tournament at Norwood Hills Country Club. We photographed each couple before the tournament started and then made 4×6 prints for them to take home at the end of the day. The weather this year was a lot less windy than when we photographed it last year and, even though it was Sept 11th, everyone seemed to have a really good time. The other day my wife called to say how beautiful the sky was while she was driving to work. So, I packed up the camera and a tripod and headed down Telegraph Road to the Meramec bridge. This is what I saw.
